INSPIRING FACILITIES

In August 2019, I was one of a group who ceremoniously removed the first shovel of dirt for the groundbreaking of Cedar Trails Elementary School.  And today, 2 years later, it was a thrilling and emotional experience to attend the ribbon cutting!

The opening of Cedar Trails Elementary is part of the Issaquah School District’s building expansion plan to meet the needs of our growing population.  Facilities that inspire learning and serve all our students is not only top of mind for the Issaquah School Board, it is also one of my Top 10 Priorities which are the foundation for my service as a school board member, and for my run for re-election.
